Welcome to the Global Scoreboard Guidelines of RivalWare Entertainment ("RivalWare"),
a brand of Arisen Technology Corporation ("Arisen"). By using this service and its features, you have agreed to the
terms and conditions in this document, in the Terms of Use for
this site and in the RivalWare Privacy Policy.
Rules of Conduct
We are in the business of providing interactive entertainment, and
we want to make the experience a great one for everybody. So, we do
not condone or permit users to ruin the experience of other players
by using offensive and/or harassing conduct.
THESE RULES WILL BE INTERPRETED AND ENFORCED IN THE REASONABLE JUDGMENT
OF THE RIVALWARE ENTERTAINMENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM AND THEIR DECISION
WILL BE FINAL.
- We will not tolerate any names that promote any racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, or otherwise inappropriate material.
- You may not advertise any goods or services on the scoreboard unless you have been granted prior permission in writing by RivalWare.
- You may not use the scoreboard to collect any information.
- You must obey all applicable laws, regulations and rules. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. The laws that apply in the offline world must be obeyed online as well.
- You may not post or communicate any person's real-world personal information within the scoreboard.
- You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the scoreboard.
- You will not exploit any bug in the scoreboard or in any RivalWare product to gain unfair advantage in the game and you will not communicate the existence of any such bug (either directly, indirectly, or through public posting) to any other user of the scoreboard.
- You will not do anything that interferes with the ability of other scoreboard users to enjoy playing their RivalWare games, and using the scoreboard, in accordance with its rules.
- You will not make false reports to RivalWare staff members.
Appropriate Online Content
By "Content", we mean the software, communications, images, sounds, and
all the material and information you see on the scoreboard. RivalWare
does not pre-screen content available on the scoreboard. RivalWare does
not assume any responsibility or liability for content that is provided by
scoreboard users. We reserve the right to remove content that is
objectionable to us or that we find inappropriate for the scoreboard. Neither
Arisen Technology Corporation, RivalWare Entertainment nor its affiliates assume
any liability for any failure to remove, or any delay in removing, any content.
Expletives, strong vulgar language, crude or explicit sexual references, discussions
of illegal drugs, and hate speech are offensive and always inappropriate on the scoreboard.
RivalWare makes the final determination about whether content is objectionable or not.
This determination is in our sole discretion, and is final.
RivalWare representatives may monitor the scoreboard. However,
because we cannot monitor all of the content, and we do not attempt
to do so, you might encounter something you don't want to see. You
can report it to the RivalWare support staff. Your good judgment in making reports
is important and appreciated.
Your Responsibility For Your Conduct
You agree that you will be personally responsible for your use of the scoreboard
and hold harmless Arisen Technology Corporation, its subsidiaries, affiliates,
employees, officers, and directors from any liability or damages arising from
your conduct on or use of the scoreboard. This paragraph shall
survive termination of this Agreement.
Availability of the Global Scoreboard
RivalWare, in its sole discretion, may temporarily or permanently suspend
the global scoreboard service without warning.
ARISEN HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO THE
SOFTWARE AND SCOREBOARD SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS
OF MERCHANTABILITY, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
